On Tuesday, November 17, 2015 Tokyo Metro will start selling a new PASMO card specially designed to appeal to visitors to Japan. The new PASMO card can be reused again and again by simply topping up the balance in the same way as you would with a regular PASMO card. The card can be used throughout Japan on any railway, subway or bus route that accepts IC cards, eliminating the need to purchase a ticket every time you travel, making travel a smoother and more enjoyable experience.

New Tokyo Metro PASMO card design exclusively for tourists
The card will only be available from November 17, 2015 to the end of March 2016. The special PASMO card can be purchased at Haneda Airport International Terminal at the tourist information center and Narita Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Keisei Bus Ticket sales counters.
The card costs 3,000 yen (including a refundable 500 yen deposit and a balance of 2,500 yen available for use)
The card is only offered to tourists. A passport with a tourist visa will be required to make a purchase.
