Hotel Associa Shin-Yokohama, a luxury hotel in the Shin-Yokohama Station building, is to be rebranded, renovated and reopened in August 2026 as Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Yokohama Station.
Shin-Yokohama Station
Hotel Associa is a brand of hotels operated by JR Central. To make the Shin-Yokohama hotel more accessible to both domestic travelers and the increasing number of international tourists, JR Central has decided to partner with Marriott International, which offers world-class hospitality, and rebrand the hotel as the first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Kanagawa Prefecture
The hotel is located directly above Shin-Yokohama Station, which serves the Tokaido Shinkansen line. This location is extremely convenient for business or tourism being just 18 minutes away from Tokyo on the Shinkansen, and 11 minutes from central Yokohama on the local subway. There are also airport buses, which can connect you with Haneda Airport in around 30 minutes.
Hotel Associa Shin-Yokohama will remain open until early May 2026, after which it will be closed for renovations.

All the guest rooms will be renovated, and the 10th floor lobby will be expanded to make it easier for guests carrying large luggage to check in and out.
New connecting rooms with interior doors will also be installed, which will be suitable for families or groups.
