Fun Fan Festa 2016 Summer Festival in Osaka Station from July 22nd to August 7th

JR West together with Osaka Station City will hold the “Fun Fan Festa 2016” summer festival in Osaka Station from Friday July 22nd.

A stage will soon appear on the “Toki no Hiroba Plaza” of Osaka Station City

The festival will be held on the “Toki no Hiroba Plaza” on the 5th floor of the Osaka Station building. A high stage decked out with paper lanterns will be set up on the plaza for live music and dance performances, Bon Festival dancing, and accessory making workshop events.

The plaza will be decorated like a summer festival beer garden with parasols and lantern stands

The plaza as a whole will be decked out with bamboo lantern stands, fold out benches, and parasols. In one corner a rickshaw decorated with flowers will be used for commemorative photos.

The plaza’s Caffe Bar Del Sole will also be partly taken over by street stall style food and drink stands. From 12.00 – 20.00 these stalls will sell typical Japanese summer festival fare such as cotton candy, popcorn, crushed ice, beer, and soft drinks.

“Fun Fan Festa 2016” commences on Friday July 22nd and continues until Sunday August 7th.
